Okay after months of work with my artists, Jane Starr Weils and Carol Phillips, my author, Michele Avanti finally completed the first paperback edition of my book and it will be released nationally on January 1, 2008
Librarians can order it in either paperback or hardback from the two most famous library distributors - Baker & Taylor and Quality Books Inc.
I am jazzed, wait till you see some of the illustrations in this new version. You will get to see the fierce General Maltor and my dear friend Doctor Paychente.
I will do my best to upload some over the next week or two - in the meantime check out all the amazing reviews we have received on Amazon.
Also for anyone who is connected to Unity or Church of Religious Science, you might be interested to know that my story is being used with youth groups and in Sunday School classes because it is not only an interesting tale filled with adventure, mystery, magic, and fun, but it is also steeped in metaphysics (which of course my author mom has taught since 1972 - long before I was born!)
WISHING EVERYONE A DELIGHTFUL HOLIDAY SEASON - predictions for 2008 will be posted in the next few days on my mom's new Avanti Avanti blog, so if you want to know what an Astrologer / Psychic sees check it out.
May you have a wonderful Holiday Season
BLESSING TO ALL -
GreeHee
I have received so many calls from readers saying I loved Harry Potter and I love GreeHee, when is the next book coming out? Well Potemkin In Search of The Manuscript is being written as we speak.
But how do we compare GreeHee to Potter.
Potter is about a boy on earth. He is up against the most evil magician of all time - the name of which should never be spoken. Harry is the child of wizards and has inherited powers that he is learning about and how to use through the books. Harry is different, he is good hearted, he is without physical parental support - despite the astral support he receives from his parents. He has no friends but then his life begins to reveal itself to him as he goes to Hogwarts, he deiscovers friendship and is a good friend, willing to sacrifice for his friends. He lives often outside the rules if the situation calls for him to do so.
GreeHee is a dragon in Tamoor. He will also face the most evil power in his world. He is the son of the most terrible dragon in Tamoor but he is different. He, like Potter is good hearted, deep thinking, has no parental support (in his case none at all). GreeHee has never had friends and lives a lonely life until fate pulls the fairy Loni into his world and his journey begins revealing to him and the world who he really is. He discovers friendship and is willing to sacrifice for his friends. Though GreeHee does not have magical powers like Harry, he has a friend who does - Loni.
I believe the reason why readers find GreeHee irrisistable is because his story is the story of soul. Soul is who we are and when we enter human bodies, we feel separated from our real selves - the powerful, magical, limitless beings we are. We also feel different for many, many reasons. As we live our lives, fate guides us to achieve whatever we have come to achieve and when we are in sync with our powerful - divine selves, we have amazing, magical, unexpected, stranger-than-fiction experiences.
Share your thoughts on Harry or GreeHee or life. I look forward to hearing from you.
This is my story and I would love to share the whole journey with you. In this, Book One, I travel from my cave with a little - rather unlikely creature - a fairy princess. I fully intend to prove myself by eating her and her family when I get to her home, but I had no idea what taking this little fairy home would do to my life. Yikes! You will not believe where we went and the kind of trouble we get into.
Loni, this percocious fairy, is amazing. By chapter two she has used her magic to save my life - so let's get real, how'm I gon'a eat her?
Anyway, we go to Narsor, land of the giants, where something happens to me (can't give it all away) and this prophecy takes off.
There's a war and...well it will take five to win the final battle at the Seat of Stars in Wizards Web...if we can sustain against the obstacles, fulfill the journey, make it across the Azura Kah and overcome the unimaginable traps to get there.
Enjoy the journey and get back to me with comments.
